Carly Pearce has spent most of her life being very healthy eating things like boiled chicken with no spices and steamed vegetables, fresh fruits and no processed foods. However, as she shared, there is one Thanksgiving staple that she can't go without.

Carly says, “There’s one thing that I will forever want ‘the real thing,’ as I call it, and that’s pumpkin pie. You can’t mess with a pumpkin pie.”

Pearce explained why she is so careful what she eats, “My dad had a massive heart attack when I was 19 and it kind of changed the game for my family as far as how we eat. We have a modified Thanskgiving.”

No doubt Carly has any things to be thankful for this year, including her recently CMA win for Musical Event of the Year with Lee Brice, for “I Hope You’re Happy Now.”

Pearce posted right after the CMA's, "Thank you, @cma — I’m definitely “happy now” ????♥️???????? #cmaawards #musicaleventoftheyear."
