Last year at Thomas Rhett's house, his family and their guests celebrated Christmas with enough people to build a four-layer human pyramid in matching pajamas.

He explains, “I think growing up, Lauren [Akins]’s house that she grew up in was always the house that kids went over to. Thanksgiving they always had people over and they always had the biggest ugly sweater Christmas parties in the world. So, even since we got married, we have continued to have this party, and it grows and grows and grows and grows.”

Obviously, with Covid-19, they won’t be able to host their usual ugly Christmas sweater party, but they’re coming up with ways to still carry on the tradition while staying safe during the pandemic. “We just love having people in our house. I mean there’s literally so many people in our house on a daily basis, whether it’s our friends or our family, our house seems to be the central location where people want to hang out, and we always seem to hang out in the kitchen for some reason.”

One of the ways they are keeping in the holiday spirit this year is when the couple joined Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Russell Dickerson and his wife and went Christmas caroling stopping at Lady A's Charles Kelley's house over the weekend. Charles posted the sing a long on his Insta stories.

Recently after he and Lauren hosted a CMA Country Christmas, Thomas posted bloopers from the show. He wrote on Instagram, "@laur_akins and I had a time filming #CMAchristmas  if you missed the show last night catch it anytime On Demand or Hulu until Dec 10th! #bloopers."
