Eric Church just released another new song, a ballad called "Doing Life With Me." Check out the lyric video below.

The song comes on the heels of a number of other one-off song releases by Church, including "Stick That In Your Country Song," "Bad Mother Trucker," "Crazyland," "Hell Of A View" and "Through My Ray-Bans."

Back in February, Church said that he was taking a very different approach to his next album. Instead of recording in a conventional studio in Nashville, he went to a studio in the mountains of his native North Carolina.

“I felt like it was time to do something nuts,” he said. “The goal was to write and record 28 songs in 28 days. I’d write a song in the morning, we’d cut it that night. We removed all the barriers. Chase that as hard as you can, move on. For me, it’s as far out there as I have gotten... It was kind of like The Shining."

Brian has been working in pop culture and media for about three decades: he’s worked at MTV, VH1, SiriusXM, CBS and Loudwire. Besides working as a writer and an editor-in-chief, he’s also appeared on air as a pundit, guested on radio shows and hosted podcasts. Over the years, he’s interviewed the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, the members of U2, Beyonce, Pink, Usher, Stevie Nicks, Lorde… and is grateful to have had the chance to interview Joe Strummer of the Clash and Tom Petty.
