Carrie Underwood Announces Full Length Gospel Album
Following the success of her Christmas project, My Gift, Carrie Underwood has announced plans to release her first-ever full length gospel album. In the announcement on Instagram, Carrie calls ‘My Savior’ a companion record to ‘My Gift.’
“I’ve been making music that I love and been giving my heart to the Lord,” Carrie says. “I basically didn’t want that to end.”
Carrie has expressed her Christian faith in hits like “Jesus Take The Wheel” and “Something In The Water,” and is excited to do a full-length Gospel project. “I’ve been lucky enough to do songs like that along the way, and you guys have been asking for this album for a long time.”
‘My Savior’ will go on sale prior to Easter, on April 4th.
