On Monday (1/4) Jon Pardi released his new single, “Tequila Little Time.” The song, which he co-wrote with Rhett Akins and Luke Laird, is from Pardi's album, Heartache Medication.

Jon says, “I feel like this goes great on a boat, a lake or pool and just any kind of atmosphere of having a good time. It’s about picking up a girl that’s down and maybe, maybe we want to do a shot of tequila? There’s no answer, but maybe. She starts feeling better, and it’s fun. It’s just a fun song.”

Looking back on 2020, Pardi reflected on his Instagram, "2020 was not at all what any of us expected. Looking back on some of the good memories (like marrying the love of my life!) but also looking forward to 2021 and hopeful it brings more normalcy and happy memories of it’s own. Thank you to all the first responders and medical teams working tirelessly in the fight against Covid."

He added, "Also, thanks to all the fans who still love and listen to country music. You keep all of us going even it’s just through a Bluetooth speaker or headphones. Looking forward to the day this s--- is over and the amps are on, the lights are faded and music is bumping through a huge PA system and we are all together. Cheers and Happy New Year!!⁣"
