Dan + Shay's new song "Glad You Exist" is a sweet tune that tells fans, "Here's to all of the late-night drunk phone calls that you picked up. Here's to all the bad decisions that you didn't judge, All the 'love you's and the 'hate you's and secrets that you told me. Here's to everyone but mostly us."

Shay sings in the chorus, "There's a couple million people in the world and a million other places we could be but you're here with me. Take a moment to just take it in 'cause every high and every low to this. I'm just so glad you exist."

Their latest single is what the duo are calling "a message of gratitude and hope. A message to everyone in our lives: our fans, our friends, our families, to remind them all how grateful we are to be on the planet at the same time."

They posted to Instagram earlier today (2/5), "it’s important, now more than ever, to tell the people we love that we love them. this song is a message to everyone in our lives: our fans, our friends, our families, to remind them how much they mean to us. our hope is that these words spread some much needed positivity + light, so let’s get it started. tag someone you care about, and let them know you care. we’ll go first. @abbysmyers + @hannah.billingsley, and everyone else out there reading this, we’re so #gladyouexist."
