Miranda Lambert On ‘Drunk’: ‘It’s Such An Anthem’
Miranda Lambert and Elle King’s new collaboration “Drunk” has been in the making for a long time; King brought the song to Lambert back in 2019.
Miranda told us, “Elle and I were on tour together for ‘Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars’ and she and I became really good friends and she sent me this awesome song in 2019 and asked me if I’d sing on it and I heard it and of course loved it. It’s such an anthem and then 2020 happened.”
She added that the song’s new video, just out today (2/26), was quite the adventure, “So, we’re finally getting the song out and we got to shoot a really fun video at the American Legion in Nashville and we got to have really big hair. We had a blast!”
