Thomas Rhett's upcoming album, Country Again: Side A, marks a return to his country roots; the album will be released on April 30, 2021.

Rhett says, “I feel like this whole record is a bit of a return to my roots, for sure. It’s been kinda happening in the last couple of years. I feel like that I started to think different. I started to think a little bit more simple, I started to live a little bit more simple.”

Anybody who has followed Thomas on social media throughout the pandemic, knows that for a while, he was writing new songs just as fast as he could. And while he had a lot of songs to choose from to be the first one he released off the album, Rhett says, “We recorded 24 songs in the studio, but it always felt like, even from the day we wrote ‘What’s Your Country Song,’ it felt like the first single. And I feel like ‘What’s Your Country Song’ is just a great lead, especially coming after ‘Be A Light.’ It’s up-tempo and I think it talks about, kinda the state of life that I’m in right now, and I think it truly resonates with a lot of people.”

Thomas posted to Instagram recently, "Y’all’s love and support is truly incredible. So thrilled to finally be sharing this new music with you. If you haven’t listened to “Growing Up” or “Want It Again” check them out at the link in bio."
