Gwen Stefani has been out on the interview circuit promoting her new music. Unsurprisingly,  her husband-to-be Blake Shelton keeps being brought up in interviews. In a recent chat with DJ Khalid, she discussed the fact that Blake's hasn't written songs lately.

Gwen said, "I wish he would write with me, but he doesn't really write anymore. We've actually written three songs together — we wrote a Christmas song together, and then we wrote two other songs."

She added, "But he just doesn't like writing that much. It makes me so mad."

The couple collaborated as songwriters on their first-ever duet, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," released in May of 2016. They also worked together alongside Justin Tranter and Busbee on 2017's "You Make It Feel Like Christmas," which they released as a duet from Stefani's holiday album of the same title.

Stefani did say that she still looks to Shelton for guidance as she plans her upcoming solo album. She offers, "He has a really good ear for hits, or just songs that are the ones that we all like. So, [I] definitely lean on him a lot."
