Movie Soundtrack With Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay’s Duet Is Out

Carrie Underwood is excited about her duet with Dan + Shay called Only You,” from the movie soundtrack of Dear Evan Hansen and the new soundtrack is out today (9/24).

Carrie posted a photo of herself with Dan + Shay from the day they recorded the powerful duet in the studio. She captioned the photo, “Loved studio time with @danandshay! Our version of “Only Us” is included on the #DearEvanHansenMovie soundtrack being released tomorrow…check it out!”

As we previously reported, Underwood and the duo collaborated on “Only Us,” a song from the movie which is based on the Broadway show of the same name.

Smyers also produced the song and played every instrument on it from his own house. He told me that he had the song's title saved on his phone for months before the conception of the song.

  An amazing song and played I’m sure at countless weddings. The song was named Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 2021 Grammy Awards. In addition, “10,000 Hours” debuted at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. It also made history on Billboard's Streaming Songs chart by becoming the highest-charting non-holiday country song in the history of the chart, besting the number nine peak of Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise.”
