Dierks Bentley Completes 100 Mile Bike Race: ‘Epic Long Day’
Dierks Bentley is taking his mountain bike riding to a whole new level as he just completed a 100-mile trek in cold Tennessee temperatures.
Dierks posted a video of himself and other bikers crossing a river and a photo of himself after he finished the race. He wrote, “Gosh Darn @goshdarngg 100 miles (109 if you get lost) in the books.
9340 vertical. 3 flats and a cracked rim. Epic long day starting with a creek crossing at 7 am and 40 degrees. Ice blocks for feet the first couple of hours. With the flats etc., and getting lost, it was a 10 1/2 hour adventure. It was…..fun?”
He continued, “Thanks Vince Poff @iamspecialized for this sweet Specialized Diverge gravel bike. Serious upgrade from my old bike, Tokyo Steel. Congrats, @bhelson doing his first-ever 60.
