After she tried to bow out gracefully of consideration for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Dolly Parton will be inducted into the Hall in the 2022 class along with fellow inductees with Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Lionel Richie, and Carly Simon.

Dolly originally wanted to withdraw her name from consideration for the honor and posted her thoughts about it on social media, saying she was "extremely flattered and grateful" but felt she had not "earned that right." However, ballots had already been sent out, and the Hall did not withdraw her name.

Parton later did say that if she did get included, which she now will, she would accept the honor.

The 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on November 5th at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Dolly was inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame in 1999.
