A Perry man is behind bars in Aiken County after authorities say he was caught allegedly exchanging inappropriate sexual material with a minor.
Authorities say they found explicit messages, pictures and videos on the cell phone of the 12 year old victim, allegedly sent by 26 year old James Sturkie. Investigators say they also found evidence of a sexual encounter between the two. Sturkie has been charged with criminal solicitation of a minor, criminal sexual conduct with a minor and disseminating obscene material.
