Carly Pearce: The Trait She Inherited From Her Father
Carly Pearce is very close to both of her parents, and as Father’s Day approaches this weekend (6/19), she talked to us a bit about what trait she got from her dad.
Carly said when asked what he inherited from her father, Todd, “Oh gosh, maybe people wouldn’t think this about me, but I do have a tinge of the way that he just doesn’t really care what people think. He will wear his pajamas to the grocery store, but then in the next minute can totally look put together.”
She added, “So, I would say that just kind of what you see is what you get. You might see me fixed up and maybe not.”
Pearce recently raised more than 10,000 dollars for Music Health Alliance Nashville by auctioning off some of her glamorous clothes to fans at CMA Fest.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s.
Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
