From the time the first trailer dropped I had a bunch of people asking me if I was going to see the new movie "Elvis". Of course I was going to see it, this is the first big movie they've ever done about Elvis Presley, I knew I was going to see it, but would I like it? Ever since I was a kid I've been a BIG Elvis fan. I've seen all of his movies, I've got countless albums, I've read all of the books on Elvis, I've been to Graceland 8 times. This movie was going to have it's work cut out for itself to impress me. I can't remember the last time I was this excited to see a movie. I got tickets for my brother (who is just as big of an Elvis fan as me) and my wife and me to see the movie, I even got them five days in advance! I watched every trailer and every behind the scenes video I could find on this movie, my brother and I talked about it almost every day leading up to seeing it. After we saw it, I had a bunch of people asking me what I though about it? Did it impress a hardcore Elvis fan? Well here's my official review.
