BERLIN, GERMANY – NOVEMBER 27: A retrofitted Lufthansa plane equipped with medical isolation facilities for Ebola cases arrives for a media presentation at Tegel airport on November 27, 2014 in Berlin, Germany. The airplane, dubbed the “Robert Koch” and commisoned by the German government, will serve as a MedEvac option for health workers who are in western Africa participating in the international effort to stem the spread of the deadly Ebola virus. The German Red Cross (DRK), emergency services group (THW) and the Bundeswehr have sent volunteers to treat ebola cases in Liberia and Sierra Leone. (Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)
(Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)I was reading this story earlier this morning about a guy named Jason and his family. They were headed on a trip to Alaska and Delta airlines offered them $10,000 to get on a later flight. Now this wasn't a voucher or something to take a flight in the future. Delta was offering him $10,000 either on a Visa gift card or a direct payment on Apple Pay. What did Jason do?...HE TURNED IT DOWN! He didn't think $10,000 was worth the inconvenience! Listen y'all, I would've taken this offer so fast it wouldn't have been funny. Think about how many times airlines will just straight up cancel a flight and not offer you anything, at least he was going to get a sizable payment for being put out for a little bit. With $10,000 you could honestly just book another trip if this one didn't work out the way you wanted it to. If they would've offered me travel vouchers or something I probably would've done what Jason did and turned it down, but you're handling me a Visa gift card or a direct payment to my account? I'm getting it right now? DONE! Where do I sign? Would y'all have taken the $10,000 or would you have done what Jason did and say no? I'd love to hear your answer to this question. Here's the full story, read it and decide what you would have done.
