Chris Young truly loves his dog; a German Shepard named Porter. He loves him so much that he often brings him out on tour, and he did that this past weekend.

The shows were in California, and after the run, Chris boarded his private jet just to take his beloved canine back home to Nashville. Young posted a photo on Instagram of him and his dog on their plane. He wrote, "Had to fly @porterthedog home safe after a multi-week run #puppy #tourlife."

Chris posted a couple of times about his soldout shows in Cali this weekend, including one before his last show of the weekend. He captioned an image of himself with a guitar, "One more show tonight on this multi-week run! Now for a long note- I just wanna say thank you to everybody that has come out to these shows this year. I'm constantly blown away by everyone singing along to literally every single song (even the new ones off the deluxe album). It never gets old, and it's awesome to see the energy you guys bring every night that I and the band/crew are up there onstage. At The End of A Bar, w/ @m10penny is top ten and climbing… life is good. All I can say is thank you, guys! #FamousFriends."
