Country Music Fact Of The Day, July 14th!

According to This Day In Country Music, It was not a good day for Country Legend Merle Haggard on this date in 1981.   Around $175,000 worth of his sound equipment and instruments were stolen prior to a show in Houston.  The good news is?  Most of the equipment was recovered the next day when the thief tried to sell it at a local pawn shop proving that crooks aren't real smart.
