New Video From Ernest: ‘Feet Wanna Run’

Ernest chose Big Sur, CA for his video “Feet Wanna Run.” The song even features his 1975 Coupe DeVille…..which is a pretty sweet ride!

ERNEST has made a big splash as a songwriter  on Nashville’s Music Row, and now he’s starting to make waves as an artist. It took the Nashville native only one year to land a prestigious publishing deal, and it paid off with four number-one hits with Morgan Wallen (“More Than My Hometown”), Florida Georgia Line (“I Love My Country”), Chris Lane (“Big, Big Plans”), and Sam Hunt (“Breaking Up Was Easy In The ‘90s”).

“The video is a vibe,” ERNEST said. “I saw the Pacific Coast Highway in my head from the second we started writing the song. When it came time for the video, I knew most folks rent old cars for videos, but I thought why not ship mine out to California and make a little trip out of it. I’m so glad I did because I’ll have those images and footage forever. The video looks like the song feels, and that’s important to me.”

Tee has worked with KICKS 99 for over 24 years as Operations Manager and Program Director and is on-air each afternoon 3p-7p. When he’s not working, you’ll find him traveling the back roads, taking pictures, and searching for the next dive diner. Favorite place to visit? That’s easy. Folly Beach, SC. He’s usually there at least a few times a year. He lives in North Augusta and on Saturdays in the fall, you’ll find him cooking out and watching his Clemson Tigers. Tee likes to write about travel, Augusta local dive bars and diners and destinations in the Carolinas, as well as new business.
