So now that you've stopped laughing at that photo, please allow me to tell you what had happened. Of course by now you know that my wife and I will be welcoming the birth of our first child, a baby girl in October. That means that we're prepping her nursery now. So far I've put together her crib, and the nursing chair. This past weekend my wife Kelsey told me I had to get to putting more stuff together, which meant the dresser and some wooden storage bins. I know the dresser was going to take a while so I started there. As I opened the box I found what felt like 9,000 separate pieces. I laid out all of the pieces and was about to start tackling this project, but I realized I was missing something very important, the directions! I looked around in the mass of dresser pieces, styrofoam, and cardboard and didn't see them. I looked in the box, and there they were, all the way at the bottom of the box. I wasn't going to open the other end of the box, that made too much sense, so I just dove in the box. Well of course at that exact moment my wife walked in and captured this picture! She couldn't stop laughing and once I saw it I couldn't stop either. She said it looked like I was going into another dimension or something. My brother in law said I'd found my new clubhouse. Everyone had fun with captions on this one. That photo is how it started, and two and a half hours later the dresser was built. Here's how it turned out.
