Maren Morris posted a photo of her American Idol ticket from 2007 when she tried out for the talent show and was quickly eliminated.

Maren captioned the post on Instagram, "My mom found my American Idol audition ticket from 2007. I didn't make it past the first-round cattle call... I wasn't really into sports growing up, but this feels like the equivalent of your mom saving your 10th place trophy."

Fellow country stars Lindsey Ell responded, "This is incredible. May we not let the world tell us who we are."

On her Insta stories, Morris got a little cattier about it, showing the ticket writing over it, my mom saved my American Idol ticket where they passed on me in like 5 seconds." Then Maren mocked the famous line from the movie Pretty Woman, "You don't remember me? I just came in here yesterday; oh, I have to go shopping now" and showed off her room full of shows, career CMA, ACM, Billboard, and Grammy Awards.
