Reba, She Deserved This Honor For Sure!
Reba has been given so many honors from many different organizations including Habitat For Humanity, The Salvation Army, The American Red Cross, Feeding American and Reba even opened Reba’s Ranch House In Denison Texas. The Ranch incorporates holistic care by providing rest and rooms, Warm meals, and nourishment who have loved ones that are being treated at nearby Texoma Medical Center.
Reba has also been honored with The Minnie Pearl Award, The ACM Home Depot Humanitarian and the list goes on and on and on!
On this Date in 2018, Reba was announced as one of the recipients of the 2018 Kennedy Centre Honors! This is honor is given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American Culture. The first Country music artist to receive this honor was Roy Acuff in 1991 under President George H.W. Bush! Other Country artists to receive this honor include, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, George Jones, and Merle Haggard. That is a pretty nice list to on.
