Today in Country Music History was a big one for Blake Shelton.   According to This Day In Country Music, July 28, 2008.  Blake Shelton had the #1 song on the US Country Charts with “HOME”  This song would be Blakes’s 4th number 1 and it was the first time that he and Miranda Lambert sang together, as she is the female backup voice you hear on this song!

This song was a cover of a Michael Buble’ which was an international hit!

Blake has charted over 40 songs on the US Country Charts and as of today, Blake has 28 number ones of which 17 were consecutive.  When he hit with his 11th consecutive number one,  “Doin’ What She Likes”, That broke the record for the most consecutive number ones in a row.

Blake has released 12 albums of which have sold over 13 Million albums in the states!
