"Strawberry Wine" became Deana's first number one song on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks Chart and even went number one on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks!
The song was also a big ol' winner at the awards level also. Song Of The Year from the CMA in 1998, Song Of the Year by The Nashville Songwriters Association, and The Nashville Music Awards. The same year, "Strawberry Wine" was nominated for A Grammy for Best Country Song and The ACM's Best Country Song and Country Music Radio Awards For Song Of The Year!
