Nashville 411- Lady A, Luke Combs, Wynonna Judd
Lady A announced yesterday that they’re canceling their Request Line tour so Charles Kelley can work on his sobriety. The tour was supposed to start August 13th, but it’s been postponed to next year. Here’s some of the statement: “We’re proud that Charles has embarked on a journey to sobriety. In order to be the healthiest, strongest and most creative band we can be, we will take the time with the support of our families and professionals to walk through this together. “It’s early on this road, but we are determined to do what will best set us up for
many more years together. We’re grateful for your patience.”This isn’t a new issue for Charles. In 2019 he admitted to “drinking too much”and wrote about it in the song “Be Patient With My Love”. But this time he’s attacking it head-on, and will surely be getting the help he needs.
Luke Combs was recently performing in Atlanta when a fan named Skyla held up a sign that read: “Long neck ice cold beer never broke my heart – But you did!!! Please be my husband or at least make a TikTok with me!!” Luke saw the sign and said, “I can’t be your husband because I’m already one of those. But I see that you wanna make a TikTok. Do you have your phone? Or do you have a phone? …Let’s make one.”
He invited Skvla on stage to make her video.
The Blast claims Wynonna Judd plans to contest her late mother’s will. Naomi’s husband is the executor. A source tells the website, “With Wynonna, her mother leaving all of her wealth to Larry sticks in her craw. Her feeling is Naomi built her fortune at least partially on the back of Wynonna’s own hard work. She was the one who was the lead singer of The Judds dating back to the 1980s and took Naomi from working as a nurse to being a star. It was Wynonna’s amazing voice that pushed them over the top. Ashley Judd has no problem with her late mother Naomi leaving her entire $25 million fortune to her second husband Larry Strickland. With Ashley it’s never really been about the money.”
