There's a lot of country on my playlist, but thats not all I listen to. I like all kinds of music. All the time I tell people if the music is good, I'll like it. When I was growing up I loved country music, but I also loved rock music. When I was younger I was always listening to two radio stations, Kicks99 and 95 Rock. So there's a good chance you'll find a fair amount of rock music on my playlist. There's also a good chance you'll find several songs from the rock band Shinedown on my playlist.

I've been a Shinedown fan for quite a while. There are several of their albums on my phone. While I was working as the promotions director here at the station I got to work a couple of their shows. I saw Shinedown at the James Brown Arena and at The Bell Auditorium. The song I chose to share off my playlist this week is from their first album. The album is called "Leave A Whisper" and it came out back in 2003.

The song is called "45" and this version of it is a special acoustic version. I always love hearing stripped down versions of songs and I hope you dig this version as much as I do.
