A Website Will Pay Someone $1,000 to Taste-Test Every Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Product
Don’t lie on your résumé about this, because you won’t enjoy the gig: Do you love pumpkin spice? If so, there’s a new job opening for a Trader Joe’s pumpkin spice TASTE-TESTER.
A website called Finance Buzz will pay someone $1,000 to try ALL of the pumpkin-flavored products Trader Joe’s is stocking this fall. You also have to rate each one. The actual job title is “Pumpkin Spice Pundit”.
You’ll have to try dozens of products . . . everything from pumpkin waffles to their pumpkin-stuffed ravioli and samosas. And you’ll have about two weeks to do it. (It’s not clear how many Trader Joe’s pumpkin spice products there are this year, but they’ve had as many as 60 before.)
You need to be 18 or older to apply, and you have to live close enough to a Trader Joe’s to shop in person. On top of the $1,000, you’ll get a $500 gift card to buy everything.
