Dub’s Letter To His Daughter.
We’re only a few weeks away from the birth of our baby girl. We can’t wait to meet her October 7th, or possibly earlier. We’re not ready, but we’ll figure it out, just like every other parent has. Before she’s born, I wanted to write her a letter. I’m not going to let her read this until she’s 18. I wanted to tell her how Kelsey and I feeling right now. We wanted her to know our hopes and wishes for her. This letter is very special.
I knew I wasn’t going to be able to make it through this without tearing up. I hope that y’all enjoy it. I apologize in advance if you cry too. Thanks for giving me some of your time and letting me share this moment for my daughter with you.
Bryan “Dub” Axelson is the host of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on KICKS 99 and has been with Beasley Media Group in Augusta for over 20 years. He got his start in radio by being a regular caller on the Kicks 99 morning show. He was soon hired and has worked in various roles in Augusta, including Promotions Director. He was raised in Georgia, and currently lives in Grovetown with his wife Kelsey, their daughter Maddie, and their 3 dogs. Dub enjoys watching sports, playing golf, spending time with his family, and discovering new music.
