Kane Brown's latest single is a duet with his wife Katelyn called "Thank God." The couple just released the video for the new song, which they filmed in Hawaii earlier this year.
As Kane recently told us, he's been waiting a while to do a duet with his wife, "So me and Kate have been trying to release a song for like five years now. And we kept getting songs coming in, we thought that you know, each of them was the song for us, but it never felt right."
He continued, "So my buddy Josh (Hoge), that's signed to my publishing deal, he sent me a song called 'Thank God,' and I listened to it, and I fell in love with it. And then kept listening to it and kept listening to it. I was like; this could be a duet. So I asked Kate, and Kate fell in love with the song, and now it's one of my favorite songs."
Brown posted a clip of the new video on his Instagram, saying, "My album different man is out now! Also, my newest single with my beautiful wife (Thank God), listen now."
This morning (9/12), Kane posted a photo on his Insta stories of a note his wife left him as he headed off to play some shows. The message read, "I love you so much. I hope you have an amazing trip, and I am counting down the days until you're home. I love you more." She drew a heart and signed, "Kate." Brown wrote over the post, "Made my morning."
Katelyn also posted a clip of the new video on Instagram. She captioned it, "Thank God OUT NOW (Link in bio). The most special experience with the love of my life @kanebrown ilysm."
Carly Pearce responded, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!" along with four fire emojis.
