I love doing Dub’s Throwback Thursday Pic Of The Week, because it lets me relive some memories with y’all. Over the years I’ve done hundreds of Kicks99 Guitar Pull ticket stops. I did the first one back in 2006. There were over 800 people there. I’ve met so many of y’all at these stops, I’ve watched your families grow up. So many of you have become friends of mine through these Kicks99 Guitar Pull ticket stops.
This week my picture takes us back to 2010. It was our first Guitar Pull at the James Brown Arena. Our lineup that year was Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Vince Gill, Montgomery Gentry, Easton Corbin and The Band Perry. Back then our presenting sponsor was Boots, Bridles and Britches. Every year we’d do ticket stops at both of their locations at the same time. We’d have one in Aiken and one in Grovetown. This picture is from the stop in Grovetown.
As you can see, our Guitar Pull set up has evolved a little over the years. By the way if you need to see where the next ticket stops are for this year, click here. Hope this pic brings back some great memories of ticket stops for y’all. I know it does for me.
Also if you want to relive a few performances from that 2010 Guitar Pull here ya go!
Check out Jason Aldean singing “She’s Country”.
And here’s Darius Rucker performing the “Hootie And The Blowfish” hit “Let Her Cry”.
