With Dub’s Guitar Pull Memories, I’ve been taking you back to some of my favorite Guitar Pulls from the past 20 years. This year we go back to 2007. Kicks99’s Guitar Pull 2007 is definitely in the top 3 of my favorite Guitar Pulls ever. 2007 began a three year run at the USCA Convocation Center in Aiken. In 2007, the Convocation Center was brand new and the perfect new spot for Kicks99’s Guitar Pull. The lineup that year included Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Van Zant, Jo Dee Messina, and Bucky Covington.

You read that right, in 2007 we had Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and Eric Church on the same show. Of course at that point the three of them weren’t the superstars they are today, but it’s still awesome to look back on an think about now. Here are my memories from the 2007 Kicks99 Guitar Pull.

Video on cell phones wasn’t what it is today, but there is some video from the 2007 Kicks99 Guitar Pull.

Here’s one from Dierks Bentley showing Kicks99 some love and doing “What Was I Thinking”

Here’s a video of Blake Shelton singing “The More I Drink” . Sounds like whoever took this video was really enjoying themselves if you know what I mean

Check out this video of Eric Church singing “Guys Like Me”.

The 2022 Kicks99 Guitar Pull is 6 weeks away, if you need more info on this year’s show, you can get that here. And to see more of Dub’s Guitar Pull Memories, click here!
