Reward Offered For Arrests of Burke County Murder Suspects
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of 22-year-old Jawuandre Dimera Kelly and 20-year-old Jordan James Perkins in connection with a shooting that left one dead and four injured in Girard, Georgia in July.
Thirty-four-year-old Dereck Hilton of Sardis died after being shot in the 200 block of Claxton Road in Girard. Four others were wounded. Investigators said the shooting took place at an unlicensed bar and shot house, where multiple incidents had been reported in the past.
Both suspects are black. Perkins is 5’8″ and weighs 135 pounds. Kelly is 5’9″ and weighs 130 pounds. Both are considered armed and dangerous. Both will be charged with Murder and four counts of Aggravated Assault.
