Kelsea Ballerini Headlines CMT’s ‘Storytellers’
Kelsea Ballerini is set to headline the third installment of the music series CMT Storytellers. It will premiere Thursday, February 16 at 10 pm ET / 9 CT. Filmed in front of an intimate studio audience outside of Nashville, Kelsea discusses her evolution as a songwriter and artist, her writing process, and navigating life and career during her rise to stardom in this special one-hour concert event.
Ballerini said in a statement, “Songwriting is my therapy, my haven, my best friend, and my exhale. It’s the purest part of what I do, and I am grateful to join a lineup of storytellers I’ve learned from as I tell mine.”
The episode will have additional airings on Sunday, February 19th at 11a/10c (CMT) Friday, February 24th at 8p/7c (CMT Music) and Saturday, February 25th at 10a/9c and 6p/5c (CMT Music).
Kelsea posted to Instagram a bunch of images and a few video clips from the filming of a music video for “If You Go Down (Im Goin Down Too).” She captioned the post, “Hot girl homicide has entered the chat.”
Many fans reacted to the post, including one who wrote, “The music video yasssss!!!” Another fan quipped, “Make sure to fill the gas tank, LOl!” One more fan said, “Just being you… just like us.”
Ballerini was recently spotted kissing, holding hands, and hugging at the Los Angeles airport. A TMZ photographer snapped images of the couple at LAX, and they pointed out that the new couple was “all over each other.” Kelsea was wearing a white sweater, camo pants, and a knitted hat and holding a denim jacket as they held hands in the airport.
Ballerini addressed the rumors the two were dating a few weeks ago (1/16) after the couple was seen in a photo at the College Football National Championship Game on January 9. She posted a video on TikTok of her with dating rumor headlines behind her. She said, “I know, I know, I know. Stop reading, stop reading. Stop looking. But what is happening, guys? What? Let’s not do this.” Kelsea captioned the video. “I’m about to break up with the internet 5 sure,” with a laughing emoji.
