Investigation in Richmond County – Two Bodies Found
According to The Augusta Press, an investigation in underway in Richmond County after authorities found the bodies of two people in a house on Maryland Avenue.
After missing the rent payment, the landlord initiated a wellness check. That’s when authorities found decomposing bodies of a woman and man in the home. Coroner Mark Bowen believes the two had been dead for a while.
Identities have not been confirmed, but the home was being rented by a mother and her adult son- Sue Ann Francisco and Robert Francisco. The bodies have been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for positive identification and cause of death.
