Kane Brown Rocks Women’s Anthem And The Crowd Goes Wild
Kane Brown recently performed at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to a packed house. As Kane told us earlier this week (4/17), he had a blast. Brown said, “Performance is one of my favorite things to do now. I feel the most comfortable when I am performing above anything else. My band has put in so much hard work and really made the show for me and makes me just go and have fun on stage.”
He added, “The fans have all been crazy, and I also found out that the more ‘you’ you are and the more fun you have, the more the crowd has fun. I’m so open now; if I mess up, I let the crowd know I messed up.”
At one point in his Nashville concert, he started to play Shania Twain’s mega-hit “Man, I Feel Like A Woman,” and the crowd went nuts. “Yeah, that’s the first time I did the Shania Twain [song], and it did not go well. The crowd was singing it, but I think I said just three words, just kinda played the music, and they sang the rest.”
Playing a women’s anthem in front of a live audience doesn’t seem so odd to Brown, who grew up with heavy influence from women throughout his life. He said, “I grew up around only females. I had my three grandads in my life but not many men. Just being around it, that’s why I like Shania Twain and all the stuff I was raised on.”

In the same interview, Brown, who made his acting debut on the CBS drama Fire Country a few weeks ago, had good things to say about his first acting gig. He told us, “I loved Robin (his character) as my first role; I felt like it was really me, so it wasn’t too hard to try to act. I got a lot of good advice from the actors that were on the scene. I kept asking them how they go about doing their characters, and they said, ‘Just make it yourself,’ and I thought that was really cool. They made me feel like family. I wouldn’t have wanted another series to start my acting role.”
While he admitted that he wouldn’t be auditioning for too many roles, he shared his movie plans with us and what parts he would love to do. Kane offered, “I would love to be in movies, but we’re not gonna push anything, we’re just gonna go, and whatever offers we get, we’re gonna look at ’em and see if we want ’em.”
And his dream roles? He said. “Every Avenger that you could possibly think of, yeah, that would be sick. I love scary movies and comedies. I think it would be cool to do a comedy. It’d be cool.”
