The Kicks Wake Up Krew’s Conversation With Ray Fulcher
This morning we had a conversation with Ray Fulcher. Ray is coming to Lincolnton tomorrow for the Beer4Good Music Festival. We’re really excited to see Ray tomorrow, as well as all of our friends in Lincolnton. We haven’t seen Ray in months, and we haven’t had the chance to make it up to Lincolnton in a while either, so this is a win win for us.
We haven’t see Ray since November of last year when he was on stage at Kicks99’s Guitar Pull. Ray had what I would consider the moment of the night. He was singing his song “Love Ya Son, Go Dawgs” and the entire James Brown Arena had their phone lights on and shining. It was one of the coolest visuals I’ve seen in over 20 years at Guitar Pull.
Ray has had a bunch of success as a songwriter, he’s had 5 number one songs with Luke Combs. He also found out that Luke’s new radio single was going to be “Love You Anyway”. There’s a video of Ray’s reaction and it is priceless. If you haven’t seen it, here’s Ray’s reaction to finding out he’s got another song coming to country radio.

We talked to Ray more about this video. We also talked to him about that moment at Guitar Pull. Cody and I also asked Ray about things he could do forever and what big purchases he made after he found some success in country music.
