While I know it happens... Body-shaming at the gym, or really ANYWHERE, should never happen. But unfortunately it does. I've read news stories before of "in-shape" women being asked to wear less revealing workout attire because it's intimidating. And while I do think about what I wear to the gym and don't typically wear anything revealing, it is frustrating when someone has worked really hard to get where they are and are shamed for it.
And at the gym, my main focus is to get my workout in. Not to be the judge on what someone is wearing. What you wear at the gym is none of my business. I'm just proud of you for showing up and putting in work. But this woman actually captured body-shaming at the gym on camera!

What do you think? Was the woman right or wrong to speak up? Personally, I wouldn't wear what the girl is wearing... but I also don't think it's a big deal. And I would NEVER be the one to say anything to anyone about what they're wearing. Part of me thinks this is jealousy. I mean, the girl is obviously in great shape. And I think no matter what you do, someone is going to think, or say, something.
