Dub's Playlist

Whats on Dub's playlist this week? Well considering its Eric Church's birthday, I figured it would be appropriate to play The Chief.

First let me apologize for missing the playlist last week. Baby Maddie had to stay home from daycare and Kelsey had a big meeting at work, so I was on daddy duty. So I knew I had to come back with a great song this week. And I think I have done just that.

Back in 2006, there was an advance copy laying around the station of a new artist named Eric Church. The album was called "Sinners Like Me". So I asked my buddy Zach Taylor if I could borrow it and check it out. Let me tell you, I fell in love with that album right then! I had this advance a few months before the actual album came out, so I knew every word by the time it was available in stores.

There is not a bad song on Eric Church's debut album "Sinners Like Me". This one is one of my absolute favorites though. I love the song, and I love what people do at Eric Church shows when he sings it live. The song is called "These Boots". When Eric sings this song in his show, everyone takes off one boot and holds it in the air. It sounds weird, but its a really cool sight to see.

Happy birthday to Eric Church, and heres "These Boots" on Dub's playlist this week.
