A New Downtown Augusta Bar Is Coming Soon

There is a new Downtown Augusta bar coming soon. And it will be in a familiar location. According to WRDW/WAGT, there is a new business going in the old Bee's Knees location just off Broad Street at 211 10th Street in downtown Augusta. It will be called "Lenox on 10th Bar and Lounge", and its set to open soon!

According to the article from WRDW/WAGT and a news release from that article the owners of Lenox on 10th already have two existing local restaurants. They are “poised to leverage their extensive experience and expertise to elevate the social scene in Augusta with their latest establishment.” I think this is awesome!

I've always loved being downtown and supporting downtown businesses. This article brought up a good point, there is a lot going on in that area of downtown. Lenox on 10th is right next door to Manny's Off Broad Sports Bar. It also sits right across from Pho-Ramen'L and Taco Cat. This just gives us more to choose from when we go Downtown Augusta.

The article brought up yet another good point. The Lamar Building is being redeveloped and The Standard on Greene Street is in development as well. The people that are going to live there will create more foot traffic downtown. I've always wanted us to have a vibrant downtown and I think we're getting there. The more things that bring people downtown the better.
