The Best Prom Ever Happened In Edgefield
This past Friday the best prom ever happened in Edgefield. I had the honor of being a part of it. The 6th Annual Rustic Elegance Believe Special Needs Prom took place at the NWTF Shooting Club.
One amazing man had a vision and decided 8 yrs ago to follow Tim Tebow’s lead, and with the support from business and town folk is able to create such a wonderful evening for everyone.
What an amazing night it was. People with special needs from ages 12 and up were invited to be a part of the free event. One amazing man, Calvin Henderson had a vision and decided 8 yrs ago to follow Tim Tebow’s lead, and with a lot of support from business and town folk was able to create this event for everyone.
What the night includes
- It’s 100% free
- prom goers were able to walk the red carpet
- Get free hair and makeup touch up
- Free dinner
- Cup Cakes
- Ice Cream
- Cookies
- Dancing
- and just having the time of their lives
Edgefield and surrounding businesses and volunteers came together to make this amazing event happen. Founder Calvin Henderson told me Friday “He has the most amazing team and volunteers that help him each and every year”.
