New Mixed Development At Exit One In North Augusta
Looks like there’s going to be a New Mixed Development At Exit One In North Augusta, and things are about to get a little busier. “The Hive” will be 175 acres of mixed development between Knobcone Road and I-20.
Restaurants, Retail, And More
Stanley Martin is the developer, and it will include single-family homes, apartments, and townhomes. The new Mixed Development At Exit One In North Augusta will have a commercial area with restaurants, retail, and office space. There will also be 30 acres of green space.
More Traffic, More Improvements
Road work will have to be done for easy and safe in and out access for the development, including plans to use Pinion Road off of Five Notch as an access road. According to North Augusta Council notes, off-site traffic improvements include the modifications to the alternative primary access intersections on Knobcone Avenue, potential access intersections on Martintown Road, modifications to the medians on Martintown Road, and installation of deceleration lanes.
What’s Coming?
I’ve also heard rumors of a Lowes Foods grocery store possibly looking to locate at The Hive. It will be interesting to see what kind of restaurants and retail will be interested in this area which will have a great built-in crowd as well as having easy access to I-20.
