Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company teamed up for the third consecutive year to donate more than $250,000 to animal shelters nationwide. Through MuttNation's Mutts Across America program, one outstanding shelter or foster-based rescue in every state – plus Washington, D.C. and a "Wildcard" pick – are being honored with a surprise $5,000 grant.
Bev Lambert, Miranda's mother, and co-founder of MuttNation, said, "Finding deserving shelters and rescue groups across the country is easy. It's narrowing it down to just one in each state that's really tough."
Miranda added, "Mutts Across America is MuttNation's cornerstone – it was our first signature program. These grants give us the chance to show our appreciation and spotlight shelters across the country for their hard work, year-round, to improve the lives of shelter pets. We're so proud to partner with Tractor Supply on this and other programs, allowing us to elevate our goals and increase the number of animals' lives we can change."
Since the initiative's origin nine years ago, MuttNation's Mutts Across America has supported more than 450 shelters with over $1.75 million in grants. Tractor Supply began partnering with MuttNation in 2021.

Lambert has been doing a lot of co-writing songs with fellow artists in the last year or so, including co-writing with Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, and now Gabby Barrett.
Gabby said in a recent interview, "I wrote a song on the album that was written with Miranda Lambert. That's very fun. And there are so many people in the Nashville community that I haven't gotten to write with that I did this time around. So there's just a lot to look forward to."
Barrett said in the same interview about her upcoming album, "I'm almost done with it, so that's really exciting. Early Fall is the game plan to get it released. Hopefully, we can even release some music before that."
During a recent Instagram chat with fans, Gabby said of Lambert, "Miranda's awesome. She's just super laid back and just so chill and nice to be around and very real of a person, which is really nice to see in the industry, especially as a female being very real and not about the drama and the jealousy and this and that. The song is more of a slower song, and it will be about Texas. That's all I can say."
Miranda Lambert celebrates her 39th birthday today (11/10). Throughout her career and life, she has always championed her many animals and pets throughout the country with her Muttnation Foundation helping shelters in America.
To help shine the spotlight on rescue animals and shelters, Lambert and her mom Bev Lambert founded MuttNation Foundation in 2009 to ensure that as many dogs as possible would have a safe and happy place to call home.
The Muttnation website describes what they do: "MuttNation is supporting Greater Good and Humane Society Naples in their efforts to help pets impacted by the hurricane. 100% of your donation will benefit these two organizations."
The website also noted, "Miranda's love for animals has always been essential to who she is. While volunteering at local shelters, she adopted her first pup Delilah as a companion when she started touring."
To celebrate Miranda today, we gathered ten of her most recent posts about her beloved animals; whether from her own home, a friend's home, or just trying to find forever homes for the many shelter animals she helps each year.
