Raiders of the Lost Ark is still one of my favorite movies. I can still quote the movie (“Snakes… why did there have to be snakes?”) and remember the plot line. The Indiana Jones series began in 1981. It was and is the benchmark for all other action films. Who would have thought that 42 years later, we’d have a FIFTH movie added to the series? Harrison Ford really is timeless.  Have you seen the trailer for the new movie? I hear “It belongs in a museum.” 

Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny

I can’t wait to see it. I’ve seen the first four and I loved them all. Harrison Ford does an amazing job of making Indy relatable even during the most unlikely of situations. 

In celebration of the new movie and our 42-year history with Indiana Jones, I excavated the internet to dig up 9 artifacts from the Indiana Jones series plus one BONUS item. I, personally, find the bonus item hilarious, but I made it a bonus since it’s more of a Harrison Ford thing than a strictly Indiana Jones thing… let’s just say Short Round never looked so hairy. 

Oh! And I included video clips for most to take you back to the moment. I also included some things from the new movie to salute the making of new Indiana Jones memories.
