This new college football hype video has got me fired up for the season. We’re so close to my favorite time of year again. NFL training camps are happening now. The early college football rankings are coming out. I’m going to assume there are a lot of y’all out there who are just as ready for football as I am. If you’re not ready yet, I bet this video will get you ready.
I love a good hype video before a big game, but a hype video for the whole season, that hits different. Isn’t it a great feeling to not have to worry about what you’re going to watch on TV in the fall? You wake up and put on College Game Day, and then it’s football all day after that. There are games at Noon, 3:30, 7, and even games at 9 pm (if you’re still up that late).
My Georgia Bulldogs have won back-to-back National Championships, and everyone is wondering if they can do it a third time. Their schedule is favorable for it, but any team can beat any other team on any given Saturday. By the way, if you haven’t seen Georgia’s schedule for this year, you can check it out here.
ESPN put this new college football hype video together, and it has made my morning ten times better. Check it out.
Are you ready for the season now after watching that college football hype video?! Yeah, I figured you’d say that.

During those games, it’s always nice to have a snack or two around! It doesn’t matter if you’re watching alone, or with a group of friends. Something about football and snacks just makes sense.
The best snacks for football games, or any sport for that matter, are something you can grab and go. So think… finger foods. It’s also great to have some variety, especially when you have a large group to serve. And if kids are involved, you definitely want simple and not TOO messy!
A few things to remember:
- Don’t stress over the food
- Keep it simple
- Grab your favorites
- Don’t forget to have some drink options– unless it’s BYOB!
- Make sure you’ve got plates, napkins and cups
- Don’t over-buy… but make sure you have enough. Having a head count is definitely helpful.
Have fun with it. If you’re not a cook– don’t start now! Because you don’t need the stress, the mess, or taking ALL that time to prepare new things! You can always call ahead and order the food– or grab some pre-made items at the store. But if you’re wondering about what foods are most popular for football games, we’ve got a few ideas for you!
And make sure to check out these items that will have you game day ready at all times!
