Tyler Hubbard Officially Becomes ‘Swiftie Dad’ At L.A. Show
Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley took their five-year-old daughter Olivia (who they call Liv) to see Taylor Swift during her sold-out run in Los Angeles this week. Tyler has become what many dads across America are:” “Swiftie Dads.”
Hubbard posted a couple of video clips of his wife, daughter, and even himself dancing to Taylor’s song at the concert on Tuesday night (8/8) on Instagram. He captioned the post, “We took Liv to see Taylor last night, and it was so special. We sang our hearts out as we soaked up all three and a half hours of her incredible show. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I’m truly inspired on so many levels. It’s official… I’m a Swiftie dad.”
Many of Tyler’s fans reacted to his post with one writing, “Somebody’s dancing in the country…” Another fan commented, “OMG, IM MELTING!” “This is the cutest – I can feel her excitement.”
On his Insta Stories, Hubbard posted a note that Liv wrote to him before the show. It read: “Dad, I love you, and we’ll come to Taylor Swift. I am so excited to go to Taylor Swift. Liv to Dad love.” He wrote over the image of the note, “Heart melted.”

In June, Hubbard celebrated the number-one chart success of two of his solo songs, “5’9” and “Dancin In The Country.” He co-wrote the latter song with Keith Urban. At the party in downtown Nashville (6/13), Keith joined Tyler and talked with us about their first writing together before the party started.
Keith told us about writing the song with Hubbard, “It was natural because we were gonna be out touring, and it just made sense for Tyler to come out, he was game for it, and it was a great fit.” Tyler adds, “It was. I think that helped us kind of not break the ice, but you know, we were kind of already buddies, but being in a room when you’re writing with somebody for five or six hours, you’re pretty much ultimately as vulnerable as you can be and you become friends pretty quickly.”
