Alexander Lukatskiy/ShutterstockWhat are the best foods to cure a hangover? I mean let's face it, we've all been there at least once in our lives, or most of us have. You go out with some friends, or maybe you're having people over to the house. The beverages start getting good to you, and you're having a great time. The next morning, however, is a totally different story.
One of the best ways to get rid of a hangover is to eat something, but what? Well according to Vinepair, these are what we reach for the most here in the Georgia and South Carolina area. They broke it down by state region and looked at what each state craves most the morning after a night of having a few too many drinks.
Let's take a look at South Carolina first. This one left me scratching my head a little bit. According to this Vinepair article, South Carolina's favorite hungover food is Callie's Hot Little Biscuit Sandwich. Huh?! I've never heard of that ever! Have y'all? Apparently they have two locations in Charleston and a food truck. Well, what about our people a little closer to home in Aiken or North Augusta? They can't be driving all the way to Charleston if they're hungover!
I think thats why most of South Carolina will also choose Georgia's favorite hungover food as well. Waffle House! According to the Vinepair article, Waffle House is the favorite hungover food for the majority of the Southeast. Which explains why you can't get in one after 10am on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Some people reach for fast food when they're hungover. Here are some of their favorite places to go.
What Are Our Favorite Fast Food Restaurants
What are our favorite fast food restaurants? We've all got a go to place that we hit up when we want food now and don't feel like cooking. However, as a country, we have places we prefer more than others. What are those places? How did your favorite spot rank on the list? I've got all of the info for you.
The American Customer Service Index has come out with their annual list of top fast food places. They rank places based on certain factors like quality, speed, accuracy and how polite the staff is. The ACSI has been doing this list since 1994. One certain place has held the number one spot on the list for 9 years in a row. But they almost got knocked off this year. Which places ranked the highest? We'll get to that in a minute.
First of all let me tell you what places were on the bottom of the list. The ACSI looks at 23 fast food restaurants. Their mostly places you can find all over the country. Allow me to preface this by saying, just because they're at the bottom of this list, it doesn't make them bad. I've had great service experiences at a lot of these places, at least some of the ones here in the CSRA. These are the spots at the bottom of the list.
I'm kind of surprised by this, but again remember, this list was done nationally. Before we see who topped the list, if you want to check out the full article from the American Customer Service Index, just click here.

Chik fil-A
For the 9th year in a row Chik-fil-A topped the list with a score of 85 out of 100. Does that surprise anyone? You pretty much know what you're getting when you go to Chik-fil-A, whether its here in the CSRA or across the country. The food and the service is top notch.
Jimmy Johns
Right behind Chik-fil-A was Jimmy Johns. They scored an 84 out of 100. See what I mean when I said earlier that the top spot almost got over taken? I love Jimmy Johns, and I have to admit, the service there is really good.
KFC
This one surprises me a little. I mean the food is usually good at KFC, but the service is kind of hit and miss, at least at the ones I've been too recently. They scored an 81 out of 100.
Papa Johns
Another one where the food is good, but the service is hit and miss sometimes. Again this is a national study, so there must be some locations across the country picking up the slack. They scored an 80 out of 100.
Domino's
Honestly, I haven't been to a Domino's in so long that I can't really speak on them. I can't tell you what the food or service is like lately. I can tell you that they scored a 78 out of 100.
Five Guys
The burgers are great and the service has always been pretty good. They're a little pricey for me, but still good. They scored a 78 out of 100.
Pizza Hut
I hate to keep coming back to it, but this one is another one thats hit and miss for me. Sometimes I get Pizza Hut and the pizza is good, and sometimes its ehhhh. I can say the same for the service. They scored a 78 out of 100
Starbucks
This is another one that I can't really speak on because I don't really go there, but based on the lines I see outside all of their locations here in the CSRA, they're doing just fine. Starbucks scored a 78 out of 100
Arby's
They have the meats! I mean I wouldn't know, I can't tell you the last time I went to an Arby's, but when I do, the food has usually been pretty good. They scored a 77 out of 100.
Dunkin'
Now this one I can speak on! Whether its my wife or me, we're at Dunkin' at least once every weekend. The coffee is usually on point and so are the breakfast sandwiches. The donuts they can be a little hit or miss. Dunkin' scored a 77 out of 100.
