Lainey Wilson Marks Milestone in Her Nashville Kitchen
Lainey Wilson has got to be one of the busiest singers in country music today as she continues to seize her moment with nine CMA Nominations as she tours constantly, both as an opener and a headliner. Lainey got a little downtime at her home in Nashville yesterday (9/19) and took to Instagram to celebrate one of her first successes.
In jeans, a tye-dye T-shirt, and a green trucker hat, Wilson says in her kitchen in an Instagram video clip as a song plays, “Whoa, September 19, 2021… ‘Things A Man Outa Know’ went number one two years ago today and ever since it has been a dang whirlwind, ya’ll. Today, I am here at my house in Nashville, washing clothes and getting ready to hit the road again. There is no telling how many shows we have played since ‘Things A Man Oughta Know’ went number one. And ya’ll still sing it at the top of your lungs every single dang night! Every night!.”
Lainey then sighs and says, “I love ya’ll. That was one of my first, most important, and biggest accomplishments in the music business. And it seems like one blessing after another has just flowed since that moment. I love ya’ll.” She then grabs her dog and holds him while she sings the song.

Wilson recently sold out a show at Billy Bob’s in Texas and cemented her hands at Billy Bob’s Walk Of Fame.
Lainey posted a video clip from the moment. She said in the video, “Tonight is a big night, ya’ll. We sold out Billy Bob’s, got my name on the wall, put my hands in concrete. It is a big, big night for us. I tell you what, we’re so dang excited, let’s party, come on.”
Wilson captioned the Instagram post, “In 2013, I sold merch for an artist at @billybobstexas, hoping one day I’d be on the stage of the world’s largest honky tonk. Ten years later, we did that and sold it out. Keep on dreamin’, folks.”
