It's true. My Number One Hamburger Joint In Aiken Is Not A Hamburger Joint. Located in the Alley in Aiken is a small restaurant and bar with high-end whiskey, specialty cocktails, and upscale bar food.

Whiskey Alley

At Whiskey Alley in Aiken, you'll find a great selection of tapas like Brown Butter Brussels Sprouts, Charcuterie platters, pork rinds with Giggity Giggity Sauce, and more.

Steaks and Chops

Delicious plates like Filet Mignon Medallions and brined Boneless Pork Chop with sweet braised cabbage, bacon, and sweet potatoes are just some of their great offerings at the Whiskey Alley.

Now, to my favorite. I was in the Alley in Aiken a few Saturdays ago, and we decided to stop and have lunch at the Whiskey Alley  and have a couple of cold beers. I didn't even know they had hamburgers, but I quickly discovered they had the best burger!

The Royale with cheese-burger. An Angus beef patty, American cheese, pickles, lettuce, and magic sauce (so good!) on a fresh potato bun. Now, this is a great burger! The fries are hand-cut and delicious, too. If you find yourself in the Aiken area, you should check it out. Best hamburger in Aiken

Bourbon and Whiskey, Too

Also, they have the area's largest selection of high-end bourbon and whiskey, after all, whiskey is in their name.  I do mean a GREAT selection, too! Many hard-to-find bottles here.

The Alley is also a great place to people-watch and spend the afternoon on a Saturday or any day. There are also many unique shops downtown, too. If you have the burger at Whiskey Alley Let me know what you think, and Enjoy!
