Never Too Early For These Delicious Treats – Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes Return

It's that time!  The Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes return.  Honestly, I wasn't expecting it this early... but a friend's Facebook post alerted me to this GREAT news.

There I was, just casually scrolling Facebook when I saw a familiar image...

And according to this post, TODAY is the day that the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and other Christmas-themed snack cakes return to store shelves.  Yes, I am fully aware that it's not even Halloween yet... but have you had a Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake?

Now I know, not everyone loves them as much as I do.  But there's just something about limited edition items.  There's definitely some urgency that comes along with their release.  And often, the items become really hard to find because people stock up on them.

But I also know there are many people who share my passion for these sweet treats.  So much so, I've seen apparel that displays the love for these cakes... and even earrings (which I definitely need). Oh, and we can't forget the candle!

My fiancé loves them.  And we can only find them for a very short period of time around the holidays.  We've been known to grab many boxes and store some in the freezer.

Also, the Blue Bell Christmas Cookies Ice Cream.  Years ago, I read this hilarious Facebook post of a guy describing the ice cream... and it left me hunting down the ice cream like my life depended on it.

Once I finally found ONE carton of it, I only wanted more.  It is delicious! I believe it was the following year that I was calling Blue Bell to see which stores in the area were carrying it, and when.  The addiction was REAL.  Again, it's only available for a limited time.  And Blue Bell even told me they had made a limited amount and wouldn't be able to make anymore in time before the Christmas season was over.

Last year, it looks like Blue Bell released the ice cream around this time of year.  So, I am going to keep my eyes peeled for this... and the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes... and White Fudge Covered Oreos. Don't judge!

Last week, Dub and I talked about a candle company that had partnered with Little Debbie for some snack cake-scented candles.  And I couldn't help myself, I had to do some digging to find out more about these candles. That's when I realized, they have Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Candles!

The company is Goose Creek Candle Company.  They offer bath, body, and home items. Candles, wax melts, and scented home products are their specialty.  The company designs and creates their own fragrance formulas for each product. Their products range from floral, fruity, and nature-inspired scents, along with seasonal scents.

The partnership with Little Debbie collaboration features some of the company's signature flavors as scents.

After realizing they did have the Christmas Tree Cakes, I decided I might need to get one to do a review. And these candles are 3-wick candles, and 14.5 ounces.  According to the Goose Creek website, the candles are highly scented with premium oils and are designed to quickly fill large spaces with fragrance. And the candles are currently just $13.99 and burn up to 45 hours.

I was going to order some other scents from the Little Debbie collaboration, but I'm not typically a fan of "sweet" scents.  I usually prefer more nature-inspired... like beachy scents.

So, instead, I just ordered the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes scent.  But I did check out their other candles... and found a few more that I decided I'd grab to check out.

I wound up getting 4 candles total, and they offered me 60% off one full priced 3-wick candle!  I ordered the candles on Sunday, September 10th. And had them on my doorstep by Sunday, September 17.  That was just using regular ground shipping.

First of all, the packaging is spot on!  It looks like they took a box and used it as the wrapper on the candle. The glass jar and lid felt very sturdy and high quality.  Upon the intial sniff test, prior to lighting it, I felt like it smelled like vanilla.  And I don't mind the smell of vanilla, but I was hoping it was closer to smelling more like the cakes!  But I decided I needed to light it to get the full effect.  And it's definitely not just straight vanilla!

Even though I'm not usually a fan of sweet scents, I actually really like this.  And it's true... the scent quickly filled my living room, dining room, and kitchen! I feel like it definitely has more of a vanilla cake scent than I originally thought.  And the scent fills the large space, but without being overpowering!  Definitely happy with this purchase!

I haven't lit this one yet.  And honestly, I don't quite know why I chose this one.  The website has SO many various scents to choose from...  I guess this was just one of the first ones I saw that grabbed my attention.  It was my full price item that I got 60% off.

I wasn't sure if it would have a pumpkin scent or not.  I honestly didn't look at the prominent scents.  But upon first sniff, I am a fan!  I like sandalwood and cedarwood... so this is a great combo!  I will have to light it up to get the full effect, but just in the jar, it smells really good!

My Review:

These two scents are part of the Goose Creek Aromatherapy Line.  They are smaller, at just 7.5 ounces and only have one wick.  Both of them smell really good.  I think the Tranquil one will work perfect to help relax at night or in a hot bath.  And I feel like the Soothe one will be great when those allergy or cold symptoms roll in with the cooler air this fall.

I haven't lit either one of these, but based on the scent from the jars, I think I'll really like them too.  And the scents definitely match what the labels have on them!
