Beaufort, SC

Beaufort, SC-  Let's face it. Salt time is good any time of the year. I love the smell of the South Carolina coast, and people have been vacationing in Beaufort since 1512.  The city is full of history and has some great Fall deals, as hotels and VRBOs are less expensive than the summer rates. You'll even see some beautiful foliage along the tree-lined streets downtown. The Live Oaks have been the center of attraction for hundreds of years. Read on for more Fall Getaways On the SC Coast.

Fripp Island, SC - Beaufort's next-door neighbor. If you want quiet, this is your place. You'll meet a few friendly deer while visiting Fripp, too. Stock up at the grocery store before arriving on the island and enjoy the downtime on this carefree piece of paradise!

Pawley's Island

Pawley's Island, South Carolina, located 70 miles north of Charleston and about 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach, is one of the oldest resorts on the East Coast. There are many great beach houses you can rent, too.

Surfside Beach, SC

We have all heard of Myrtle Beach, but travel a few miles South, and you'll be in Surfside Beach. It's much more laid back than its neighbor and has excellent restaurants and bars with plenty to do, even in the Fall. Surfside is known as the "family beach."
